JAZZ FEST

Jazz Fest is the annual end-of-year dance celebration, performed Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Miss Michelle’s. All classes at the studio will participate.  Students will learn new choreography in class, or perform competition or spring ballet pieces for members of the studio and the public. Costumes will either be from the Spring Show, Competition, or may be rentals.  Classes decide on costuming individually.  After the performance, the party continues with cake, goodies and weather permitting, water balloons!

Dancing at Disney is an exciting adventure for the student dancer.  It offers a chance to perform in a professional venue as well as having fun at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  The workshop consists of putting together a 25 minute production that will be performed on one of the professional stages at Disney World.  Students must be at least 7 years of age and enrolled in classes at Miss Michelle’s Center for the Performing Arts.  All students interested in performing at Disney must enroll in at least one ballet class and one other class during the Fall semester, beginning in September.  Our 2018/2019 target date is Veteran’s Day Weekend in November.  Auditions will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, 3:00-5:30 p.m. Let’s Dance at Disney!
